Having qualified with a national firm, Linda then joined a “Top 4” firm and specialised in tax. Since joining Morley and Scott as a Partner in 1991 Linda has built up a substantial portfolio of clients mainly in the SME sector and including UK and overseas groups. She also advises a number of individuals on all aspects of their financial and taxation affairs. Linda’s tax background gives her an extra perspective in relation to her dealings with her clients.
From November 2004 until November 2007 Linda was the Managing Partner of Morley and Scott. Not only was this a first for Morley and Scott but Linda was, at the time, the only woman Managing Partner of a top 50 Accountancy firm in the UK.
Linda is now Lead Partner of the Thames Valley Office where she focuses her considerable energies on guiding and developing that office and leading and promoting the Morley and Scott Women’s Portfolio (which offers support and advice to women in business) as well as ensuring clients receive the support and advice they need and want.
Linda is just as active in her private life. A keen horsewoman and skier, she also shares a love of travelling with her husband Andrew and daughter Louise.
