John is our Corporate Finance Partner outside of London, supporting clients in raising funds, buying and selling businesses. He has a particular niche in being able to raise smaller sums of Venture Capital from £250,000 - £2m having developed excellent relationships with a range of Venture Capital funds.
A Corporate Banker for 16 years John has extensive experience and has a reputation for completing deals. He worked in a Corporate Finance lead advisory role for 9 years and built his business, Balfour Corporate Finance, from scratch.
John is also currently the Chair of the Credit Committee for the Accelerator Fund having been actively involved in bringing the £10m Fund together for the benefit of the region's SMEs.
John enjoys cycling with his wife and two young sons, reading and fine dining, although much of his spare time is spent tending to his allotment.
