Morley and Scott Expands in Thames Valley
Morley and Scott has expanded its Thames Valley office through a merger with local firm ClarkBlair, as part of an ongoing growth strategy.Linda Richardson, lead partner of Morley and Scott’s Thames Valley office comments: “We’ve taken a lot of time and care to find the right firm with a complementary client base and the right cultural fit. We’re delighted to have found such a partner in ClarkBlair and the fact that very nearly all their employees are joining us shows what a good match it is. We’re now actively seeking further merger partners within the region.”
ClarkBlair, based near Marlow, Buckinghamshire, is a two-partner firm offering business advisory and support services, accounting, taxation and payroll to a client base developed over many years in the area. Six of the firm’s seven employees have relocated to Morley and Scott’s Slough offices.
ClarkBlair principal, Peter Clark, comments: “We’re pleased that we shall be able to offer the greater breadth of expertise that the merger will deliver to our existing clients, with whom we have very close working relationships, built up over many years.
